Justin Solonynka: Biography

ABOUT THE ARTIST

For over ten years Justin Solonynka has performed his virtuosic piano blend of folk, rock, and jazz for audiences throughout the greater Philadelphia area. He combines original rock songs and beautiful instrumentals with his gift for storytelling to create shows which are enjoyed by people of all ages, both sexes, and most shoe sizes.

Justin grew up in Churchville, PA, a small town in Bucks County. He was drawn to making music from childhood, starting with the piano when he could barely reach the keys. In concert, he has also been known to play trombone, pennywhistle, mallet percussion, guitar, melodica, and drums, though admittedly not all at once. He sings, too.

In his spare time, Justin is an avid photographer and nature enthusiast. He lives outside of Philadelphia with lots of books, several plants, and a collection of musical instruments from all over the world, some of which he can actually play.
