For your downloading pleasure, I've added more music to "Songs from the Basement" on the Sounds page. Check out the "Theme from the Waterpipe Theater" that I wrote for a public radio show in 2006. There's also a live recording of "Fired" from a 2006 performance at Godfrey Daniels. And finally, you can hear a classic performance of Green Day's "Basket Case" from 2000. Enjoy!

I've added a new section to the Sounds page. I'm calling it "Songs from the Basement," and I'll be putting all kinds of random recordings there for you to listen to and download. I'm starting with a recording of "The Song Remembers When" that I performed live with Hope Wesley Harrison at a Moravian Academy concert. The recording engineer, Matt Hontz, thinks it's from 1999 or 2000 - we aren't sure. More music to come - keep checking back!

Check out some photos from last Friday, when I performed with the Thomas B. Razler Quartet at the Bucks County Coffee Company. We had a good-sized crowd despite the rain. Thanks so much to everyone who came out to hear us.

A couple weeks ago I performed at a Germantown Academy coffeehouse, which is kind of an open mic night for students and teachers. I covered "Idioteque" by Radiohead. One of the students videotaped it and asked if he could post it on YouTube, and I said sure. Well, it's online. (Click the "play" triangle, below -- but pause the music at the bottom of the page, first!)

It's kind of weird for me to see the facial expressions I make, but oh well. I guess my audiences have been seeing them all along, and no one's said anything to me...

By the way, if you haven't bought the new Radiohead album In Rainbows yet, I highly recommend it. It rocks.
